AZYNEX 500 INJECTION is indicated for the treatment of localized infections in the body caused by bacteria. It also can be used to help treat severe or more serious infections like pneumonia (a lung infection), pelvic infection, or people who can’t take oral medications for infection.

It is a drug called azithromycin, which is in a category of drugs known as macrolide antibiotics. This does so by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and by clearing up the infection.

How to Use?

  • The use of AZYNEX 500 INJECTION is not recommended in patients who are allergic/hypersensitive to azithromycin and/or other antibiotics like macrolides (erythromycin/clarithromycin) and/or ketolides.
  • Inform your physician prior to AZYNEX 500 INJECTION use if you have heart problems (including abnormal heart rhythms) or kidney and/or liver problems.
  • AZYNEX 500 INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women after consulting the doctor. It is not recommended for use in children/adolescents and may be used with caution in elderly patients (above 65 years).
  • The side effects of AZITHRAL 500MG INJECTION are stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, dizziness, and/or headache. If any symptoms worsen, please consult your health-care provider.
