Fluconazole Infusion is an antifungal agent used to treat infections due to fungi, for example, Cryptococcal meningitis, Coccidioidomycosis, invasive candidiasis, mucosal candidiasis, and chronic oral atrophic candidiasis. Fluconazole Infusion is also used as a prophylaxis for individuals having a high potential for recurrence of certain infections.

Fluconazole Infusion is used to treat or prevent certain fungal infections in newborns, children, and young people between the ages of 0 to 17 years. It is also utilised to treat adults.

Fluconazole Infusion is a drug class referred to as azole antifungals. It falls under the subgroup triazole, which is used to treat systemic infections. It acts by inhibiting the fungi from synthesising ergosterol, which is a required substance for the fungal cell membrane.

How to use Fluconazole Infusion ?
